“ Sunday night dinner with a friend. The food and service were excellent- sushi, spicy tuna lettuce wraps and steamed gyoza. I appreciated that the gyoza was offered as steamed, fried or pan-seared. We didn't have alcohol but found the cocktail prices very high- more than Boston. A drink cost as much as my dinner. Tables were a bit too close together- it was very distracting when the children at the table next to us (older than toddlers) spent their dinner time crawling under the table. We would have asked to move if another table had been available. ”

“ We been to a lot of the Fuji restaurants but have yet to try the Newton location. Came here on a Monday night and it wasn't too busy. It had a similar ambiance to the woc location and it was cozy. I believe the menu was exactly the same and maybe a bit more limited. I was really hoping they had a couple items on the menu that sets them different from the other location. We have salmon wonton chips. A couple sushi rolls. The secret to success and the 24karat was the star of the nice. Full of flavor and very refreshing. ”

“ Amazing experience here with my girlfriends! The cocktails are delicious- especially the lychee martini and the sex on the Charles. There is a huge menu with tons of options including sushi but also noodles, chicken, etc. The food was yummy and came out very quickly. Our waitress Mikayla M was so kind and helpful with her recommendations. There is tons of parking in the lot behind and plenty of tables. Definitely recommend going to Fuji for a night out! ”
“ Wow, wow, wow. $32 for a chirashi bowl which they called the Fuji bowl. Pretty incredibly expensive, but I thought after eating the whole bowl that it was worth it. When I think chirashi, it's leftover fish they throw a bunch of marinade on and call it a day. This was really high quality cuts of fatty and lean tuna, a nice uni, prawn, salmon, other fish, and arugula, rice, and seasoning. Very artistic and well-done. Cody at the host stand could not have been nicer. He proactively pressed the "no tip" button on the iPad before I could make my selection. ”

Very modern and clean inside, beautiful dishes, the weight staff is friendly, attractive, and well-dressed, also very knowledgeable and excellent servers. The menu is outstanding, lots of great choice choices for the vegetarian and carnivore alike, and also an excellent bar. Prices are so reasonable at lunch, our bill came to $41 for two of us, for this huge feast. Five stars! ”
